Did you know it’s important to stretch before enjoying watersports out on the water in your Sea Ray? It can help prevent soreness and injury, and maximize fun. Amy, personal trainer and owner of Amy’s Beach Fitness in Long Beach, Indiana, joins us on Facebook for a virtual morning stretch session. Watch the video below to learn how to warm up and stretch properly before enjoying waterskiing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, tubing and other outdoor activities.
Amy has always been passionate about fitness. After talking with her mother one day, she realized she had a longing for making a difference and giving her gift of fitness to others. She decided to establish Amy’s Beach Fitness to teach workout classes, share her skills and experience, and improve the lives of women and men. Whether she’s guiding clients through personal training or one of her workout classes, she loves watching the transformation each individual goes through to meet their goals.
You use every muscle in your body when you’re participating in watersports, so it’s important to always stretch before and after your day on the water. Follow along with Amy as you discover a variety of positions perfect for all skill levels that stretch major muscle groups and improve flexibility and balance. Warm up your neck, shoulders, arms, back, core, legs and more. Receive tips you can try at home or out on the water.
