Mercury® Marine is a leader in marine propulsion, incorporating advancements for increased fuel economy, engine performance tracking and more. Sea Rays are powered by Mercury Marine outboard, sterndrive and forward-facing drive propulsion systems.
Active Trim
Whether you’re a new boater or an expert with years of experience, Active Trim allows you to maintain ideal trim levels at the push of a button. Active Trim uses GPS speed data to adjust trim, reacting automatically and continuously to turns, water conditions and changes in speed.
DIGITAL THROTTLE & SHIFT
Next Generation Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS) integrates SmartCraft® digital technologies into the most advanced suite of electronic remote controls in the marine space.
Compatible with all Mercury DTS-enabled sterndrive, inboard, diesel and outboard engines, the Next Gen DTS system delivers smooth, quiet shifting and instant throttle response. With integrated Active Trim and other captain-friendly features, DTS panel- and console-mount controls enable an effortless driving experience.
Auto Pilot
Joystick Piloting allows for more than just precise handheld joystick maneuvering; it can also integrate smart autopilot settings in coordination with GPS, compasses and chartplotters.
Mercury 7.6L 600hp V12 Power
Available on designated Sea Ray models, the 600hp Verado® outboard engine, crafted by Mercury Marine®, delivers superior horsepower and performance. An innovative steerable gearcase enhances handling and control, particularly at low speeds, and provides a smoother, more refined driving experience. The two-speed automatic transmission doles out torque and acceleration in first gear to get boats on plane quickly, then silently shifts to second for efficient cruising and an impressive top speed.
Combined with the most sophisticated digital controls, including Mercury’s Next Gen Digital Throttle & Shift system, and unmatched sound-dampening technology, the features of the 600hp Verado outboard engine elevate the standards of premium design and engineering.
V12 engine options are currently available on the Sundancer 370 Outboard and SLX 400 Outboard.
NextWave™ Surf System
Sea Ray surf boats combine Mercury ® MerCruiser ® engines with a forward-facing Bravo Four S ® drive, integrated Mercury ® technology and controls, and electric surf tabs and ballast tanks to create the ideal wake for wakesurfing and other tow sports.

Tapered Transom
Sea Ray surf boats are engineered for the specific purpose of creating surfable wakes. The hull shape and tapered transom create clean and consistent waves that riders of all levels can enjoy.
Customizable Controls
The built-in watersports interface lets you easily adjust speed, set wave steepness and length, change ride side, and control ballast for easy wakesurf setup every time.
Mercury Surf Power
Sea Ray’s cutting-edge surf technology is powered by a Mercury® MerCruiser® engine with a forward-facing Bravo Four S® drive positioned well under the boat for rider safety. The contra-rotating props pull the boat through the water, resulting in a smoother, more efficient ride with better acceleration.
Built-In Ballast
Sea Ray’s line up of surf boats come equipped with hard ballast tanks which can be individually filled or drained, and they don’t take up valuable storage space.

DYNAMIC RUNNING SURFACE™
A Sea Ray® innovation, Dynamic Running Surface automatically optimizes running attitude by automatically adjusting the pitch and roll of your boat, delivering stability and performance that exceed expectations. Initial acceleration improves as bow rise is reduced, and you can define presets for ideal wake height and shape.
Dynamic Running Surface is available on select SLX and Sundancer models.
SEAKEEPER® GYRO STABILIZATION
Make even rough days on the water good days in your Sea Ray boat with better stability and reduced pitching. Seakeeper gyro stabilization can eliminate up to 95 percent of all boat roll. Seakeeper is effective at all speeds and can be used in all sea conditions.

Fusion Audio System
Enjoy music in your Sea Ray on a premium Fusion audio system specially designed for the marine environment. Simple to operate, Fusion systems include an AM/FM stereo with a touchscreen display, Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi audio streaming with Apple AirPlay® 2 and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
Fusion audio systems are available on all Sea Ray models.
Fathom™ e-power System
A first-of-its-kind boat electrification system, Fathom e-Power will replace a generator and includes a Mastervolt® lithium-ion battery pack, consisting of four high-capacity marinized batteries.
With intuitive power management, the Fathom e-Power system is capable of powering your boat’s accessory systems for approximately eight hours* without needing recharging from shorepower or your alternators. Using the sophisticated yet easy-to-operate user interface, you can monitor power consumption and charge levels.
* Based on a fully charged system and typical power loads. Battery life will vary based on overall energy consumption.
